Multi-leader multi-follower Stackelberg model for cognitive radio spectrum sharing scheme

چکیده
Radio spectrum is one of the most scarce and variable resources for wireless communications. Therefore, the proliferation of devices and rapid growth of wireless services continue to strain the limited radio spectrum resource. Cognitive Radio (CR) paradigm is a promising technology to solve the problem of spectrum scarcity. In this paper, a new fair-efficient spectrum sharing scheme is proposed for cognitive radio networks. Based on the multiple-leader multiple-follower Stackelberg game model, the proposed scheme increases opportunistic use of the licensed radio spectrum. To adaptively use the spectrum resource, control decisions are coupled with one another; the result of the each user’s decisions is the input back to the other user’s decision process. Under widely diverse network environments, this adaptive feedback process approach can provide an effective way of finding a suitable solution. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme has excellent network performance, while other schemes cannot offer such an attractive perfor-

This paper studies interference alignment scheme and minimum mean square error (MMSE) improvement in Internet of Things (IoT)-oriented cognitive systems, where IoT devices share the licensed spectrum by cognitive radio in spectrum underlay. Target to manage the inter-tier interference caused by cognitive spectrum sharing as well as ensure an MMSE at receivers, the interference alignment algorit...
متن کاملA decentralized multi-level leader-follower game for network design of a competitive supply chain
This paper develops a decentralized leader-follower game for network design of a competitive supply chain problem in which a new chain as the leader enters a market with one existing supply chain as a follower. Both chains produce an identical product, customer demand is inelastic and customer utility function is based on Huff gravity-based model. The leader wants to shape his network and set a...
متن کاملOptimal Power Allocation for Multichannel Cognitive Radio Systems Using Stackelberg Game
We consider a non-orthogonal multiple access scheme e.g. CDMA based cellular multi-channel cognitive radio network (CRN). Here multiple secondary users share a common set of channels simultaneously. For such an environment, we develop a distributed power allocation approach based on a game theoretic formulation among secondary users to satisfy their rate requirement. We model the problem using ...
متن کاملSpectrum sharing via hybrid cognitive players evaluated by an M/D/1 queuing model
We consider a cognitive wireless network in which users adopt a spectrum sharing strategy based on cooperation constraints. The majority of cognitive radio schemes bifurcate the role of players as either cooperative or non-cooperative. In this work, however, we modify this strategy to one in which players are hybrid, i.e., both cooperative and non-cooperative. Using a Stackelberg game strategy,...
متن کاملVariational Inequality Formulation of a Class of Multi-Leader-Follower Games
The multi-leader-follower game can be looked on as a generalization of the Nash equilibrium problem and the Stackelberg game, which contains several leaders and a number of followers. Recently, the multi-leader-follower game has been drawing more and more attention, for example, in electricity power markets. However, when we formulate a general multi-leader-follower game as a single-level game,...
